FASHIONCLASH is an interdisciplinary showcase and development platform for fashion & fashion culture and a worldwide network of emerging fashion makers. We initiate, produce and present existing and new work of a new generation of fashion makers who research, reflect, contextualize and celebrate contemporary fashion(culture) from the intrinsic question:
How can fashion contribute to a better, healthier and more inclusive society?
Since 2009 FASHIONCLASH has realized numerous successful projects and offered the stage to over 1000 talents in The Netherlands, but also in Brazil, South-Africa, China, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Serbia and Italy. FASHIONCLASH is managed by artistic and managing directors Branko Popovic, Laurens Hamacher and Nawie Kuiper. We believe passionately in the contribution the art of fashion can make to society, culture and economy. As an innovative and interdisciplinary platform we:
CONNECT. We unite talent, cultures, knowledge and organisations. We use our network to establish meaningful interactions, brand awareness and inclusieve audience engagement.
INNOVATE. We initiate bespoke fashion concepts and events to showcase a unique vision of fashion. We provide a voice that enables everyone involved to make an impact.
ORGANISE. We develop outstanding products, projects and concepts to engage with a broad audience and drive growth, branding and media attention
CHALLENGE. We generate dialogue by addressing current topics in our society PRESENT – We create various innovative opportunities and formats to showcase fashion related products, ideas and fashion makers.
The Team: Nawie Kuiper, Branko Popovic, Laurens Hamacher, Jessie Beurskens, Els Petit. We are a small, dedicated team op people. Depending on the needs and desired impact of the showcase at hand – designers, models, support and technical staff are allocated to specific projects. We build on a large network of suppliers, interim staff and volunteers. Where possible other positions are staffed by (local) external experts.

FASHIONCLASH Festival is a three-day (25-27 November 2022) hybrid festival in Maastricht where a new generation of designers and performing artists from all over the world are given the opportunity to show their work to a broad (inter)national audience.
