Exhibition. Get It While You Can!

“Now!” “Hurry!” “One time only!” “Last chance!” “Before it’s gone!” – Contemporary life demands our constant alertness and attention, and for those who aim to neglect it, responds with the fear of missing out. Where are we personally situated on the timeline and how does our position correlate with the state of society?
Never At Home | Wien

When both an individual and a global clock seem to be ticking, which corresponding issues should we confront and what should we integrate? And when time is constantly running out, how can we find playfulness and open up perspectives? ‘Get It While You Can!’ features collaborative works by students of Transmedia Art department of the University of Applied Arts, Vienna. Focusing on current, personal and global crisis, they were invited to question this underlying sense of urgency as a form of psychological, market-related and interpersonal interaction with reality.
