Wasserturm Favoriten

Die aufstrebende Wiener Kunstszene vernetzt sich weit über die Weltmeere und bringt zahlreiche Künstler*innen im historisch und architektonisch einzigartigen Wasserspeicher zusammen, um in unterschiedlichsten künstlerischen Positionen über das Wasser zu reflektieren. Die Kuration versteht dieses Medium dabei auch als Basis für eine rhizomatische Vernetzung, poetisch, intuitiv und von fluktuierender Viskosität. Am Eröffnungstag transformiert sich der Turm in einen Ort der künstlerischen Aktion, Wasser fließt, schmilzt und evaporiert in Performances, raumgreifenden Installationen und akustischen Landschaften.
