Wien Art Fair

ART BOOK & ZINE FAIR

Fanzineist Vienna is an international art book & zine fair dedicated to independent publishing in art, design, literature, and culture. This year’s edition will host 173 physical and 26 online exhibitors from over 33 countries.

Among the many remarkable participants are: 51 Personae (Shanghai), A. T. Pratt (New York City), Bilder_Nische (Innsbruck), BL8D (Tallinn / Florence), CAVIE Project (Milan), Wagon + Goo (Berlin), Spyros Rennt (Berlin), Set Margins’ publications (Eindhoven), RudeFish (London), profundo ediciones (Buenos Aires / Berlin), Die Angewandte – Department of Drawing and Printmaking (Vienna), Jeroen Funke (Den Haag), Red Letter Distro (Wellington), and many others. Explore the Queer Zone, a curated space for LGBTQIA+ publications.

The fair also offers a diverse public program, featuring talks, presentations, concerts, screenings, and hands-on workshops. Among this year’s highlights are Anna Frey’s Bookbinding Workshop, Deniz Beser’s In Zines We Trust – Zine Workshop, Anna-Maria Wolf & Nicole Tanneberger’s book:collage:book Workshop, and Charlotte Hornung’s Fluo Pop: a 45-min Stencil-Printing Workshop. These sessions invite visitors to actively engage with the world of independent publishing and explore various creative techniques.

Enjoy music by Elektro Hafiz, Tutti Dilemma, Wiener Planquadrat, Alexander Zaloopin, La Washa, TJ Tall, Arda Yildiz, Everyday I am Evi`ing, Winamp Power, THAO, and others.
