Radio Banda Larga (RBL), an independent, ad-free online community radio station based in Turin, Berlin, Barcelona, and Istanbul, will have a dedicated booth in the festival’s camping area. Throughout the weekend, RBL will present a diverse and ambitious lineup of radio shows, DJ sets, and interviews with special guests. RBL is committed to supporting and promoting local cultural initiatives through radio, and its presence at Nextones highlights this shared commitment to celebrating and valuing local culture. Continuing its annual tradition, Nextones once again relies on the eloquence of the photographic medium to define its visual essence. This year, the festival’s aesthetic narrative unfolds through the masterful lens of the italian photographer, Mattia Balsamini.

Nextones is an international festival of music, audiovisual arts, and research. Taking place in the evocative area of the Ossola Valley, its cornerstone is Tones Teatro Natura, a major environmental redevelopment project by Tones on the Stones that transformed a disused quarry into a theater immersed in nature. Since its first edition, the festival has combined an international music proposal and site-specific performances with a series of activities devoted to the discovery of the natural landscape of the Ossola Valley and the interaction between artists, the public, and the territory, including hikes in the Uriezzo Gorge, talks, screenings, deep listening workshops, sound meditations and artistic residencies.
