Anke Eilergerhard works, which are presented in numerous museums and at international art fairs, are balancing virtuously between the boundaries of concrete sculpture, abstraction and figure.
They immediately catch the eye because of their daring compositions and tactile, often colour-intensive surfaces. The layers of her sculptures, which are made of highly pigmented polyorganosiloxane, pile up into a daring cake, into a daring, luxurious ensemble, into a mysterious symmetry that is not immediately recognizable.
